This topical prescription treatment includes 4% hydroquinone, which aids in the correction of hyperpigmentation (discoloration) and helps to improve and even your skin tone. Nu-Derm Clear is step 3 in your Nu-Derm System skin renewal regimen.
Each product in the Nu-Derm System is specifically designed to work in collaboration with one another to provide you with optimal results. When used as a system, the prescription-strength ingredients work to effectively balance the pH level of your skin and penetrate into the layers of your skin for superior results.
What is the difference in use between the Obagi Clear and Obagi Blender, since both of them have 4% hydroquinone, the skin bleaching agent?
Obagi Clear is designed to be used both morning and night and helps more with surface damage and pigmentation on the upper layers of the skin. Obagi Blender is to be used only in the evening mixed with your tretinoin/retin-A. Obagi Blender also contains saponins that act as a delivery agent to pull the product down to the lower dermis to fight pigmentation at that level.
A thin application should be applied to the affected areas twice daily or as directed by a physician.
4% Hydroquinone, Purified water, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Asorbic Acid, Sodium Metabisulfite, Lactic Acid, Saponins, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, BHT, Propylparaben and Butylparaben.
IMPORTANT: Obagi Clear contains sodium metabisulfite, a sulfite that may cause allergic-type reactions including anaphylactic symptoms and life-threatening or less severe asthmatic episodes in certain susceptible people. The overall prevalence of sulfite sensitivity in the general population is unknown and probably low. Sulfite sensitivity is seen more frequently in asthmatic than in non-asthmatic people.
